Welcome to this week's online tutorial, "The Big Idea". 
Before introduce you to this weeks project example, I would like you to read 
Russell's AXONOMETRIC introduction first.

We all know IKEA the swedish mega  furniture retailer.
Much can be said about their flat packed furniture for self assembly.
You may ask yourself why we chose this example to introduce the concept of 
axonometric projections.


Ikea is famous/notorious to provide instruction manuals
that are designed to enable the customer to assemble their kit set furniture 
themselves with the use of only a few pieces of hardware and minimal tools.
However numerous clients struggle through this process and the experience seems more like this:

In response to these "natural" disasters a lot of designers responded 
with improved manual designs. Consciously using the traditional axonometric lay out of all furniture and hardware parts for clear legibility and un-distorted perspectives.
Clearly based on assembly processes that relate to conceptual architectural construction. Please enjoy the examples below.
